Environmental protection and space technology? At ESA’s Business Incubation Centre in Baden-Württemberg (ESA-BIC), young companies like Xylene are working on solutions to the world’s environmental problems.

Navigation and communication technology is used by the Reutlingen-based company Xylene to control the mining and supply chain of raw materials. This stops unregulated mining of these raw materials and provides transparency for customers. “We want to enable importers and producers to have transparent and trustworthy supply chains for their raw materials,” explains Christopher Edwards, CEO Xylene.
